Overview

The Social Media Coordinator supports the development, execution, and day‑to‑day management of social media activity across a portfolio of consumer‑facing brands.


This role plays a hands‑on part in evolving the organization’s digital presence, with a focus on engagement, conversion, and brand consistency across integrated marketing campaigns. Serving as a frontline voice on owned social channels, this position emphasizes community management, audience engagement, and relationship‑building, helping turn active followers into long‑term customers.



Type: Long contract, Hybrid

Schedule: Regular day hours

Duration: 6+ months expected

Pay: $27 - $30/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible




Social Media Coordinator Requirements

• Experience supporting or managing social media programs for consumer brands

• Strong interest in brand storytelling, digital engagement, and audience growth

• Comfort engaging directly with users through owned social platforms in a brand‑appropriate voice

• Understanding of how social media supports broader marketing and business objectives

• Ability to balance daily execution with longer‑term campaign support

• Strong written communication skills with attention to tone, clarity, and responsiveness

• Creative, highly motivated mindset with a passion for connecting with current and future customers

• Ability to work collaboratively across marketing, brand, and cross‑functional teams



Social Media Coordinator Duties

• Lead the ongoing execution and management of social media activities across multiple brands

• Support business goals by driving engagement, conversion, and brand affinity through social channels

• Moderate, respond to, and actively engage with audiences across owned social platforms

• Serve as a direct connection between the brand and its community, fostering positive fan interactions

• Support the integration of social media efforts within larger marketing campaigns

• Help evolve the overall digital and social footprint through consistent execution and engagement

• Monitor conversations and participate in daily interactions to turn fans into customers

• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure alignment across brand initiatives and messaging
