This is a client-facing, consultative sales role where you’ll meet homeowners, understand their vision, and guide them through a structured design-build process. What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-home consultations with qualified homeowners
- Build rapport and establish trust through a consultative sales approach
- Gather accurate project details for internal estimating
- Develop and present tailored remodeling solutions
- Guide clients through the design-build process from concept to contract
- Schedule and lead follow-up meetings
- Close deals by securing signed design agreements
- Collaborate with estimating and design teams
- Maintain a consistent and organized sales pipeline
- Support referrals and repeat business opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Core Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-time sales experience in a closing-focused role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand construction concepts, materials, and processes
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience
- Residential construction or remodeling sales
- Experience in roofing, kitchens and baths, windows, siding, or related industries
- Exposure to residential or interior design
Technical Skills
- Ability to learn CRM and sales tools (Buildertrend experience is a plus)
Compensation & Earnings
On-Target Earnings: $75K – $250K+ (uncapped)
Ramp Period (First 3 Months):
- $1,500 per week base pay plus commissions
After 90 Days:
- 100% commission-based
- Commissions range from 4% to 7% per project, depending on product type
First-Year Expectation:
- Approximately $1.5M in closed sales for a successful representative
