Sodexo has an exciting new opening for a Director of Client Finance in its Corporate Services segment. As Director, you will own the financial performance and decision support for a complex client account, leading a team of finance business partners and influencing key priorities with SVP/VP leaders.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in the office in Central New Jersey.
What You'll Do
- Lead portfolio financial performance by preparing, managing and delivering the annual plan, forecast, and all financial presentations for both Sodexo and the Client.
- Provide management with insights into drivers of revenue, gross margin, profitability, performance, and expenses, as well as risks and opportunities.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to segment leadership by advising SVP/VP leaders on new business and renewal strategy—pricing, commercial structure, and financial implications—while constructively challenging assumptions to protect value.
- Translate complex financial information into crisp recommendations that increase decision speed and confidence for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and develop a high‑performing finance team.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement projects.
- Direct and lead all audit processes, including implementation plans from internal and external audits.
- Identify best practices, continually enhancing efficiencies, and improving quality.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Master's degree a plus).
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience (FP&A, performance management, reporting), ideally within a complex services/contract environment.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior account leaders and influence decisions in a matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of contract economics and complex service environments (including FM and multi‑service models).
- Advanced ability to develop and communicate insights through financial modeling, analytics, and executive presentations; comfortable in client‑facing settings.
- Proficiency with modern finance tools and systems (e.g., advanced Excel, FP&A/reporting platforms, and data/BI tools).
