Description/Notes:

Comfort Independent School District is a public school district based in Comfort, Texas. Comfort ISD is comprised of an elementary (PreK-5), an middle school (6-8), and a high school campus (9-12).

Responsibilities:

Responsible for oversight of all financial and business affairs of the district. Direct and manage the operation of all financial and business affairs of the district including accounting, payroll, purchasing, risk management, child nutrition and property tax management. Direct and monitor the management and investment of all district funds and ensure they are adequately protected. Serve as the chief financial adviser to the Superintendent and the Board of Trustees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting required.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• TASBO Certification preferred.
• 226 Day Year

Salary Range:

Commensurate with District Pay Scale, education, and experience. ($92,445.00 - $127,661.00)
