Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 per year

We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Spa Operations team as Spa Director.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing Each Day

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the spa; coordinating non-management staff (including massage therapists, estheticians, stylists, attendants).
  • Focusing efforts toward maximizing departmental sales (services, retail, profits), and responsible for aesthetics, merchandising, marketing, maintenance, cost controls, inventory, and reporting.

You have a keen eye for detail and respect the importance of providing a luxurious spa experience for guests. You don’t shy away from challenges. The pride you have in your organizational and time management skills will be a great benefit in this role. You are looking for flexibility in a job, so working a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings and weekends, works for your personal life.

Essential Job Functions

Operations & Budget Management

  • Select and manage vendors for spa retail, including contracts and purchasing.
  • Oversee retail product research, selection, purchasing, and display.
  • Monitor and control supply inventories, uniforms, and purchasing processes.
  • Track actual and projected sales, ensuring revenue goals are achieved or exceeded.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality across all spa facilities and equipment.

Sales & Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and coordinate group spa experiences, including amenities, gifting programs, and customized services.
  • Plan and execute spa promotions, seasonal offers, and holiday events.
  • Ensure spa services are highlighted in property marketing and advertising.
  • Recommend new products, services, and enhancements to remain competitive in the market.

Revenue Management & Finance

  • Oversee payroll, scheduling, and labor costs.
  • Review operating statements, payroll reports, and budget worksheets to meet or exceed financial goals.
  • Manage controllable expenses such as amenities, linens, salon products, décor, and supplies.
  • Collaborate with sales and catering teams to accommodate group requests, review contracts, and ensure accurate billing.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Empower team members to resolve guest concerns and provide exceptional service.
