Role Description
This is a FT on-site role for an Aquatics Director located in Sammamish, WA. The Aquatics Director will oversee the operations of the aquatics department, which includes managing swim instruction programs, developing class schedules, and ensuring safety standards are met. Responsibilities include hiring, training and supervising lifeguards and swim instructors, overseeing group swim lessons, and maintaining the pool's cleanliness and compliance with regulations. This role also involves collaborating with other departments to support overall club initiatives and customer satisfaction.
Compensation
This is a FT position with benefits if enrolled. Pay rate: $28+ DOE
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year's experience teaching Swim Lessons
- Strong foundation in Aquatics and Swimming skills
- LGI preferred - or will help achieve
- Proven experience in leadership and team management skills
- Familiarity with pool maintenance and safety compliance
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications are required
