Assists Managers by soliciting and reviewing functional area continuous improvement plans and activities to maintain and improve overall plant continuous improvement results Provides strategic direction, leadership, support and decision making to ensure successful application of continuous improvement concepts, including Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma, Layouts and Material flow. Manage Standardized Work Process and Kaizen events. Be responsible for coaching the rigorous usage and ongoing improvement of lean manufacturing tools in the Pryor Paper Mill and Converting Plant. Conduct quarterly loss analyses to identify top opportunities, lead cost savings initiatives, and ensure site action plans are well aligned with the most impactful opportunities.
REQUIRED 5+ years’ experience working in a plant manufacturing environment Experience implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma improvements. Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI or SAP experience is a plus.
