Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is sought for a dynamic travel assignment in Westbrook, ME, providing comprehensive respiratory care across multiple hospital departments. The ideal candidate will have robust experience working in adult ICU, ER (including pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation), Level 1 Nursery, and Med-Surg floors. This role requires expertise with advanced ventilator management, participation in high-risk delivery resuscitations, and the ability to float throughout various units.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory therapy in ICU, ER, Nursery, and Med-Surg settings.

Participate in resuscitation teams during high-risk cesarean sections.

Perform mechanical ventilation management using Drager V500, Hamilton T-1, and NeoPuff devices.

Utilize EPIC for thorough and accurate patient documentation.

Float across hospital units providing respiratory support from newborns to adults.

Qualifications & Certifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in adult critical care, NICU, and PICU preferred.

Proficient in using Drager V500 ventilators, Hamilton T-1, NeoPuff, and Airvo high-flow oxygen units.

Certified in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Strong assessment skills with the ability to work in high-pressure situations.

Prior experience in NICU and PICU is preferred to ensure confidence treating critically ill pediatric and newborn patients.

Night shifts

36 weekly guaranteed hours

36 weekend hours

No call requirements
