Job Overview:
We are seeking a
technology ‑ centric Product Owner
for Credit Card Digital Banking who can
own the product backlog, prioritize releases, and drive delivery across complex technical ecosystems . This role requires a
developer or architect ‑ turned Product Owner
with deep understanding of
API integrations, backend systems, data models, and end ‑ to ‑ end process flows , working closely with engineering teams. The Product Owner will be responsible for building and integrating
digital banking frontend capabilities with backend services and data platforms , balancing business outcomes with technical feasibility and platform scalability
Responsibilities: Own and manage the product backlog end‑to‑end , including grooming, prioritization, and readiness for multiple release trains. Translate credit‑card business objectives into
clear technical product roadmaps , epics, and release plans. Define
epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
with strong technical depth, ensuring alignment with backend services, APIs, and data models. Prioritize features and releases
based on architectural dependencies, platform readiness, risk, and business value. Act as the
single point of accountability between engineering, architecture, API, data, and platform teams . Drive decisions around
API contracts, payload structures, service orchestration, canonical data models, and integration patterns . Review and validate
technical designs and process flows , ensuring feasibility and alignment to target architecture. Partner closely with engineering leads and QA to ensure
robust backend, API, and UI test coverage . Proactively identify and remove
technical dependencies, integration risks, and delivery blockers . Validate releases post‑production using KPIs, system performance metrics, and data quality checks. Clearly communicate technical and delivery trade‑offs to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience
in digital banking / fintech, with
hands‑on technical background
(developer, senior engineer, or architect before moving into Product Ownership). Strong experience in
credit card platforms , including application lifecycle, onboarding, transactions, rewards, disputes, and fraud. Proven experience
owning backlogs and release prioritization
in agile / scaled‑agile environments. Deep understanding of: API‑driven architectures
(REST/JSON, microservices) Backend systems and integration patterns Data models and enterprise data platforms End‑to‑end process flows across channels and systems Ability to
write and interpret SQL queries
and analyze backend data to support decision‑making. Strong command of technical concepts to effectively challenge designs and collaborate with engineers. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge
business requirements and engineering execution .

large‑scale digital banking or credit card transformation programs Exposure to cloud‑native platforms, event‑driven architectures, or enterprise integration layers Experience working in
