Graphic Designer
What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well‑loved fashion brands? As a graphic designer for Centric Brands, you’ll use your skills and creativity to create designs based on style plans, sales needs and emerging trends. You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point. This involves collaboration with our technical design and production teams, as well as outside vendors and other external stakeholders. Specific Responsibilities
Seeking a Graphic Designer to support our lifestyle golf brand, East Side Golf . The Graphic Designer collaboratively manages the graphics component of the seasonal design development process by coordinating cross‑functionally on the creation, execution of layouts, and input on the production of original, trend‑appropriate graphics concepts for all design needs, including garments, logos, illustrations, tags and labels.
Responsibilities by area
Strategy & Innovation
Research and identify graphics trend directions in collaboration with Design Director; manage development of themes and concepts and create presentation boards for meetings and mock‑ups
Monitor new trends, techniques, treatments and resources in graphic design and production
Operations & Results
Translate brand concepts into compelling graphic deliverables for garments, logos, illustrations, photographs, tags and labels
Coordinate cross‑functionally on the creation of camera‑ready art and color separations; collaborate with Design team to incorporate graphics into line
Provide expert knowledge on graphics aesthetics, processes, and treatments for design team, merchants and production; collaboratively manage reference library
Tech pack art for production
Customers & Relationships
Manage follow‑up with internal partners in design and production
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, vendors and business partners to monitor trends and implement current processes
Partner with internal legal department to ensure graphics/designs do not infringe on intellectual property rights and register new rights where necessary
Leadership & Teams
Contribute positively to team dynamics
Qualifications
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented
Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for graphics and fonts; strong ability to sketch
Extensive knowledge of traditional and web‑based graphic production techniques, including color separations, camera‑ready art, heat transfers, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
4 – 7 years experience in graphic design; significant relevant experience in category
Expert in Adobe products and Mac computers; highly proficient in Microsoft Office
PLM experience is a plus
Benefits & Salary
Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000
