We are seeking a high-impact

VP of Sales & Events

to drive revenue growth, lead a high-performing team, and shape the overall commercial strategy for a premier hospitality destination. This is a highly visible executive role with direct influence on top-line performance, team development, and long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities Serve as a strategic partner on the Executive Team, contributing to overall business planning and performance Develop and execute comprehensive revenue optimization strategies across all segments Lead regional and national sales initiatives to drive new business and maximize market share Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales and events team Establish clear sales goals, forecasts, and performance metrics to drive accountability and results Oversee pipeline management, ensuring consistent tracking, reporting, and conversion optimization Lead annual business planning, with full ownership of revenue generation strategies Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams Foster strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders

Candidates must possess: 7+ years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience within hospitality or a related industry Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams Strong strategic and operational leadership capabilities Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level Data-driven mindset with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets in a competitive environment Collaborative leadership style with a focus on culture, accountability, and results Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field required Must be 21+ and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

About Our Client Our client is one of the largest and most recognized hotel-casino resort destinations in Reno, Nevada. Originally opened in 1978 and continuously evolved, the property now features approximately 2,000 guest rooms and suites and boasts the largest casino floor in Reno and Northern Nevada, with over 80,000 square feet of gaming, including slots, video poker, table games, and a full race and sportsbook. The resort has recently undergone significant renovations, including upgraded gaming areas, modernized interiors, and enhanced guest environments. It is also home to premier entertainment venues, including a nearly 3,000-seat Grand Theatre featuring one of the largest indoor stages in the world.
