Packaging Designer / Visual Merchandising Designer
Beauty Brand is seeking a Packaging Designer with strong visual merchandising experience to support brand packaging and in-store retail execution. This person will help bring the brand to life across packaging systems and physical retail environments, with an emphasis on compelling, customer‑facing design that translates seamlessly from concept to shelf.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop packaging concepts that align with brand strategy, product positioning, and retail objectives
Create visual merchandising materials that support in‑store launches, seasonal campaigns, and product storytelling
Develop and execute retail fixture and display concepts including gondolas, POP displays, endcaps, and shelf strips
Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, creative, product development, and production teams to ensure consistency across packaging and merchandising touchpoints
Translate brand guidelines into effective structural and graphic solutions for both packaging and retail environments
Prepare production‑ready files and oversee design adaptation across multiple SKUs, formats, and display types
Ensure all work is visually compelling, commercially viable, and aligned with retailer requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience in packaging design and visual merchandising
Strong portfolio showcasing both packaging and in‑store retail display work
Hands‑on experience designing gondolas, POP displays, endcaps, and shelf strips
Ability to balance creative vision with practical production and retail constraints
Strong understanding of brand storytelling within a consumer product or beauty/lifestyle environment
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and production design workflows
Comfortable working onsite and collaborating in a fast‑paced team environment
