Location: Central Florida (Tampa–Orlando corridor)
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site
Compensation:
$140,000–$170,000 base + Leadership Bonus up to 25% Relocation: Relocation stipend + temporary housing available
Overview We are conducting a confidential search for a Director of Finance to lead end-to-end accounting and finance for a complex, high-volume hospitality/entertainment operation with 15–20+ diverse revenue streams (50+ revenue verticals) and multiple technology platforms supporting revenue and operations. This role is ideal for a finance leader who is not intimidated by complexity butmotivated to automate, refine, and build scalable processes and controls .
What You'll Own
Lead full-scope accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, Payroll, and General Ledger
Own monthly/quarterly/year-end close and financial reporting in alignment with GAAP
Ensure revenue completeness and accuracy across numerous revenue streams and systems; build reconciliation structure and controls
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting with operational leaders
Improve cash flow visibility, working capital management, and cost controls
Design and strengthen internal controls , reduce risk, and support audit readiness
Build/standardize finance and accounting SOPs , workflows, and documentation
Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline close, and improve data quality across platforms
Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and operational decision-making
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
Ideal Background
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with leadership responsibility
Proven track record owning accounting and reporting in a highly complex, multi-revenue-stream environment
Strong experience managing revenue processes across multiple systems/platforms (ERP + operational systems); ability to create reconciliation discipline
Demonstrated success in improving processes (automation, standardization, close acceleration, control enhancements)
Strong GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills; reporting/BI tools a plus
Comfortable partnering cross-functionally in a fast-paced operating environment
Must be willing to work 100% on-site in Central Florida
