We are seeking a
strong, people-focused Assistant Director
to help lead our early education center in Orlando (O-Town West/Dr. Phillips Area). This is a
key leadership position
supporting daily operations, team development, and family engagement.

Responsibilities
Support overall
center operations, staffing, and scheduling
Coach, mentor, and develop teachers to maintain
high classroom quality
Ensure compliance with
Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensing standards
Build strong relationships with families and handle concerns professionally
Assist with
enrollment growth, tours, and community outreach
Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging school environment
Partner with the Center Director to drive
culture, accountability, and performance
Qualifications
Formal Education, CDA/ Staff Credential and Directors Certification
Previous leadership experience in a childcare or preschool setting preferred
Strong understanding of
DCF licensing and ratios
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
Assists the CD in creating a positive CULTURE for teachers, parents, and little learners
Conducts classroom observations, evaluations, and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning.
Manages team to ensure TLE curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards;
Uses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop for the future
Listens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of action
Builds and communicates weekly schedules
Daily management of classroom ratios
Builds and communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget.
CUSTOMER FOCUS
Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress
Executes “parent pleasers”
Execution of our Bubbles and Friends Parent App
Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students
Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are full compliance with local and state licensing regulations
Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations
Responsible for accident/incident reporting
Medication management
Conducts monthly emergency safety drills
