Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Distributor Sales Development Manager - US Foods Wisconsin based out the of Milwaukee, WI area. Within our industry leading Institutional division, this outside sales opportunity offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be responsible for driving sales by developing strategic sales plans in partnership with local and national distributors. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do: 

  • Cultivate relationships at all levels of distributor and Ecolab associates within the assigned geography 

  • Develop and execute business and marketing plans for assigned distributors 

  • Meet or exceed sales budget on a consistent basis  

  • Introduce new products and enhance distributor sales and service capabilities through presentations, training and demonstrations  

  • Educate Distribution Sales Representatives on Ecolab products through effective sales techniques 

 

Position Details: 

  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance from Milwaukee, WI 

  • Territory includes cities within a 75 mile radius of Milwaukee, WI

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Secondary diploma or equivalent certificate 

  • 2 years of sales experience OR completion of the Institutional inside sales development program 

  • Position requires a current and valid driver's license 

  • No Immigration Sponsorship available 

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle) 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • 3 years of outside sales experience 

  • Previous business to business commercial sales experience 

  • Industry related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality and/or pool and spa 

  • Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication, and presentation skills 

  • Sales specific education or certifications

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The total Compensation range for this position is $84,300-$126,400 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
