Position: Senior Associate, Growth Marketing

Location: NYC – 1211 Ave of the Americas (midtown Manhattan office, 3 days on‑site: Tuesday–Thursday)

Department: Dow Jones - Marketing

The Senior Associate, Growth Marketing will report to and partner with the Manager, Acquisition Marketing to grow and optimize customer acquisition programs focused on new subscribers globally. This role is highly collaborative and will work across the organization with multiple stakeholders to plan, develop and execute global growth strategies.

You Will

Execute and manage global subscription acquisition marketing strategy for WSJ+.

Own and analyze performance metrics across channels, translating data into actionable insights to understand macro trends and pinpoint key performance drivers.

Oversee operational setup across onsite experiences, pricing, and email, ensuring seamless execution.

Manage end‑to‑end execution of email acquisition campaigns, from creative development and approvals to deployment and performance tracking.

Closely monitor ongoing campaigns, working with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient planning, launch, run‑time, and take‑down.

Provide post‑campaign analysis, drawing on successes and failures, to identify tactics that are effective as well as areas of improvement.

Improve and optimize conversion journey through ideating and launching experiments.

Work collaboratively with brand, paid media, product, news, marketing ops, and content marketing teams to identify creative ways to improve acquisition.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting digital marketing and MarTech platforms.

You Have

2–4 years of performance marketing and/or subscriber acquisition marketing experience.

An understanding of subscription‑based business and subscription economics.

Proven success in running end‑to‑end acquisition marketing campaigns that encompass owned, earned, and paid media properties, with strong attention to detail and ability to execute complex operational campaigns accurately and efficiently.

Experience with A/B testing and working with product teams.

Strong initiative and self‑motivation; a self‑starter who can take ownership of projects and pitch new ideas.

A team player who seeks opportunities for collaboration and communicates effectively across departments.

Ability to manage projects independently and see them through completion, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Excellent planning, problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve challenges.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and working in a fast‑paced environment.

A proactive, self‑starter mindset and excellent communication skills.

A passion for journalism, publishing, and/or financial news.

Benefits & Compensation
Base Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000. Targeted bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, retirement, wellbeing, and more.
