About the Role
The Marketing Assistant will support the day‑to‑day execution of global campaigns, social media content, and digital marketing activity. Their primary focus will be on delivering high‑quality work reliably and consistently: producing content, creating and scheduling mail campaigns, maintaining calendars, and keeping marketing operations running smoothly. They will play a hands‑on role in bringing the team's marketing plans to life across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Create and schedule social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, with a primary focus on our London and Berlin offices, following direction from Sales and Consignment staff
Production and distribute email newsletters and notifications
Support updates to the website and Carteggio newsletter features
Maintain campaign and content calendars
Assist with auction‑related marketing, including catalogue promotion
Support logistics for marketing events, partnerships and press initiatives
Assist the Sales and Consignment teams with content featuring musicians, collectors and partner stories

The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented, organized, and creative communicator with a strong foundation in writing and content creation. They take pride in executing tasks accurately and on time, and are comfortable working within established processes and brand guidelines. They thrive in a supportive team environment, following direction clearly, flagging questions early, and bringing a reliable, can‑do attitude to whatever lands on their plate.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
Some experience in a marketing, communications, or content role (internship or entry‑level welcome)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hands‑on experience with digital content creation, including graphic design and basic video editing for social media
Ability to use Canva; familiarity with Photoshop, Mailchimp, Illustrator, InDesign a plus
Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a fast‑moving team
Enthusiastic, dependable and eager to learn
An interest in classical music, string instruments or the arts sector is a plus
Additional language skills welcome but not required
