DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to lead financial planning, analysis, and decision support for a growing, multi-entity organization. This role will play a critical part in driving business performance through financial modeling, M&A initiatives, and executive-level insights. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical accounting, strategic thinking, and data-driven storytelling.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Strategic Finance & Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term financial strategy
- Provide actionable insights to support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Serve as a key advisor on financial implications of strategic initiatives
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and deal modeling for acquisitions and divestitures
- Support integration efforts post-acquisition, including financial reporting alignment and process improvement
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (legal, tax, investment partners) throughout the deal lifecycle
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and capital allocation
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple entities
Dashboarding & Reporting
- Design and develop executive-level dashboards and KPIs to enhance visibility into business performance
- Improve reporting processes through automation and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Present financial results and insights to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner
Multi-Entity Financial Oversight
- Oversee financial operations across multiple business units or legal entities
- Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 8–12+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
- Proven experience with M&A transactions and financial due diligence
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience supporting multi-entity or complex organizational structures
- Proficiency in financial systems and data visualization tools
