TalentSource360 is seeking a rising Real Estate Asset Management Analyst to join a client in northern VA supporting their Asset Management function. In this role, the Analyst will provide performance, optimization, and strategic oversight of a diverse real estate portfolio. This role will play a key part in financial modeling, asset‑level analysis, and executive reporting, helping drive data‑informed decisions across operations, investments, and portfolio strategy.
The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of real estate asset management across asset classes such as multifamily, hospitality, mixed‑use, or retail.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze operating results and key performance indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Support annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes for assigned assets
Prepare and deliver recurring and ad‑hoc reporting packages for senior leadership and investors
Partner with property management and operations teams to monitor performance and implement value‑enhancing initiatives
Assist in underwriting acquisitions, dispositions, and capital improvement projects
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform asset strategy and positioning
Track and evaluate capital expenditures and ROI on improvement initiatives
Ensure data integrity across internal systems and reporting tools
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, investment analysis, or related field
Experience with one or more asset classes: multifamily, hospitality, mixed‑use, or retail
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel required
Familiarity with real estate financial metrics and valuation methodologies
Experience with tools such as Argus, Yardi, or similar platforms is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
