Emerging Markets Local Sales is a cross-asset FICC Sales desk with a regional mandate covering the institutional investor base of Latin America from New York. The group interacts with governments, central banks, pension funds, banks, insurance companies, and all the major asset managers in the region, transacting in most FICC products, including foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives, bonds and CDS, Repo, and commodities.
Due the regional expertise of the team, sales people work closely with Latam Structuring, Investment Banking, and Structured Credit Trading in originating and executing bespoke hedging and financing opportunities on the ground.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study
Preferred 6 months to 2 years' work experience in foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, bonds, repo, and commodities
Preferred bilingual in Spanish and English languages
Strong communication
Ability to work well under pressure and willingness to learn
Interest and knowledge in the markets
Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
