
Loan and Leasing Customer Service Representative

Summary
This role provides exceptional service to loan and leasing customers, ensuring accurate loan processing, compliance with investor guidelines, and collaboration across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
Accurately enter and/or audit new loan and lease information in the loan and customer management system.
Handle outbound/inbound calls to assist borrowers or heirs in default education and explain loan resolution options.
Present financing and leasing options to customers clearly and concisely.
Assist customers in understanding and completing all necessary paperwork for financing or leasing terms.
Submit new customer application information to the Credit department for underwriting.
Coordinate customer signing of loan and lease documents with the internal closing department and investor closing departments.
Process construction draws, receive and send invoices, and work with investors, customers, and vendors to monitor construction draws for leases and loans.
Communicate regularly with interrelated departments to successfully serve the customer, both internally and externally.
Scan and index new loan and lease information.
Process customer invoices on an established schedule.
Reply to customer service inquiries and emails promptly and courteously.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent training and work experience.
Experience : Preferred experience in loan and/or leasing customer service or related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office programs (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Access).
Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with emphasis on strong telephone skills.
Accurate data entry skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to learn and understand basic loan and lease guidelines and legal requirements.
Ability to consistently exhibit qualities consistent with company philosophies to ensure exemplary service.
Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.

Strong time‑management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
Physical Demands & Requirements Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Ability to stand or sit constantly/continuously. Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visual acuity: ability to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
