Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing Intern to help shape how MOBY is communicated to investors, partners, and the broader market. This is not a traditional marketing role. You will work directly with the founding team on high-impact content that translates complex technical systems into clear, compelling narratives. We are looking for someone who can think critically, write clearly, and operate with a high degree of ownership in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities
Support the development of investor updates, company announcements, and strategic communications Translate technical concepts into clear, concise messaging for external audiences Assist in refining website copy, product descriptions, and system overviews Create and iterate on content for LinkedIn and other distribution channels Conduct market and competitive research to inform positioning and messaging Help maintain consistency across all external communications and brand materials Collaborate closely with engineering and leadership to ensure technical accuracy Requirements
Required Qualifications
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly Interest in robotics, ocean technology, or deep tech more broadly High ownership mindset and ability to operate independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment Ability to edit and produce photo and video content for marketing and social distribution Preferred Qualifications
Experience with technical writing, journalism, or content creation Familiarity with startups, venture, or investor communications Experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite) Background or coursework in engineering, science, or economics What We Offer
