Coordinator for Residential Student Conduct Department: SAAS Student Conduct and Academic Integrity

Position Summary: The Coordinator for Residential Student Conduct manages and adjudicates student conduct cases while overseeing case management processes for University Housing conduct administrators. This role provides initial and ongoing training, consultation, and coordination of emergency responses for more than 20 housing conduct administrators, while also designing training curriculum for Resident Mentors and monitoring behavioral trends within residential communities. Operating with general supervision, the coordinator exercises independent judgment and decision-making authority in the student conduct process, with recommendations that are routinely implemented. The position reports to the Director of Student Conduct and works closely with the Director of Residence Life.

Primary Job Duties:

Adjudicate reports of alleged student misconduct and academic dishonesty. Serves as primary contact for the adjudication of cases from University Housing.

Assign University Housing cases and complete reporter follow-up as needed.

Provide training for University Housing professional and paraprofessional staff regarding the student conduct process in collaboration with University Housing and Student Conduct staff members.

Analyze and track trends of misconduct in residence halls and respond to identified problem areas by coordinating resources (Student Conduct, Law Enforcement and Safety, etc.) for programming and outreach to meet specific community needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, or a related field.

Experience working with restorative justice programs and training experience is also preferred.

Pending graduates will be considered if they will be able to obtain their degree by the date of employment.
