Personal Banker
Job Summary
A Personal Banker must be friendly, personable and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Duties will include opening all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts, etc.), resolving customer service issues and cross-selling bank products and services. Other duties include processing routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance). This position also works on the teller line as needed.
Primary Location/Schedule
3570 S National, Springfield, MO 65807
Monday – Friday; 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, and rotating Saturdays 8:45 am – 12:00 pm
Fulltime; 40 hours per week, average
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of two years of retail banking (including new account and teller transactions) required
Three to Five years personal banking experience preferred
Required Skills
Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills
Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
