Job Description The Rental Clerk is responsible for assisting with the dealership's fleet of loaner vehicles provided to customers while their own vehicles are serviced.
Responsibilities
Ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use.
Handling the check-in and check-out process for loaner vehicles, including explaining terms of use, documenting customer information, and providing vehicle keys.
Coordinating with the service department to provide customers with loaner vehicles during service appointments.
Maintaining accurate records of loaner vehicle agreements, including customer details, vehicle assignment, mileage, and condition reports.
Inspecting vehicles before and after use, documenting any damages or issues.
Providing friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a rental car or loaner vehicle environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
Schedule
Full Time
Monday through Saturday availability
Sundays off
The Rental Clerk position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $23.00.
