
Content Strategy Analyst / Technical Writer

Role Summary
Content Strategy and Development (CS&D) delivers the technical and operational information required for customers and stakeholders to work with Mastercard products and services. The team focuses on delivering the right content to the right audience, in the right format and at the right time. This position focuses on producing and publishing technical documentation for Mastercard products and services. The role supports all stages of the documentation lifecycle, including creating, managing, and distributing content across online, mobile, and print formats.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross functional teams and business or product owners to create documentation aligned with CS&D writing standards.
Handle day to day writing and publishing tasks to deliver content across channels such as web and mobile platforms.
Provide strong customer service support to internal partners and external users.
Create and edit documentation using XML or Markdown.
Use screen capture and graphic tools to add visuals and illustrations to documentation.
Publish content across multiple formats including PDF, HTML, wiki pages, and online help systems.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and translate complex technical concepts into clear, user friendly content.
Familiarity with project management practices and knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Ability to determine when graphics or process flows are required to improve documentation.
Experience with content management systems and authoring tools such as Ixiasoft, Oxygen, XML, xMetal, and Visual Studio Code.
Understanding of APIs and DITA/XML standards, including markup, tagging practices, entitlements, and topic structures.
Experience using a docs as code approach to create and maintain documentation is considered beneficial.
Awareness of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC).
