Job Summary As our Voluntary Benefits Specialist, you will step into a vital role supporting our client's HR department in the administration of Voluntary Benefit contracts with The Standard. This position offers the unique opportunity to become a trusted advisor, empowering customer representatives and insured members to fully understand both the coverage and benefit features of their plans. By helping others navigate their benefits, you'll make a meaningful impact while advancing your own expertise in the field. Serves as the liaison between the policyholder and The Standard. Working closely with the employer and their employees to respond to claim and coverage inquiries, including verifying appropriate premium administration, addressing customer service issues, claims issues, contract issues and other voluntary benefits related inquiries. Administers claim processes, handles coordination of death claims, and assists employees in filing for claims. Provides reports to the policyholder's benefit and business locations on approved claims, outstanding information requested, and Evidence of Insurability status as needed. Develops effective relationships with Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll staff throughout the policyholders' various locations. Creates best practices & new process improvements that ensure a positive customer experience for the employer and employees. Leads or participates in special projects related to the policyholder's life, disability, and Leave plans, as assigned. **Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in Voluntary Benefits as well as being bilingual English/Spanish. You will need to reside in the NE Atlanta, SE Tennessee area to be considered for this role. The Skills and Background You'll Need: Experience: 2 - 4 years of relevant, progressive work experience in the group insurance administration, with an emphasis in VOLUNTARY benefits, focusing on employee benefits insurance. Education: Bachelor's degree Required. Other: Personal automobile is available for business use with adequate insurance and a safe driving record. The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data. Salary Range: $69,250.00 - $101,000.00 Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
