The Consultant / Senior Consultant role will be working on projects within the Power Sector in NSW. The candidate can be based anywhere in Australia, preferably in Sydney. The Consultant / Senior Consultant role will involve: Consulting with clients in the development of their Asset Management capabilities, with a particular focus on: Asset investment planning Asset management maturity Asset data & information, and asset information software Delivering project work including (but not limited to) facilitating internal and external workshops, writing reports and delivering presentations to clients, with the support of the senior team. Supporting key pursuits, and building relationships to identify business opportunities in new and existing markets. Supporting the delivery of programs through good project management practices. Determining and delivering effective communication strategies for clients. This role may include short-term travel across Australia and New Zealand. Qualifications
Required: Understanding of good project management practices, and experience delivering work to time, cost and quality requirements. Proven experience delivering quality service to internal or external customers, with good communication and ability to build rapport. Degree level qualification preferred engineering, business, economics, or other relevant field. Some experience in asset management (industry or consulting) and relevant industry experience in either water/utilities, power, or asset data and information. Knowledge or experience of asset-intensive industries, including power, water, rail, government and facilities. Desire to develop a network of industry contacts and participate within industry. Desirable experience (not essential): Asset management capability assessment and improvement road-mapping. Delivering transformational, multi-year programs Asset management software system management or implementation Investment business case planning and portfolio prioritisation Additional Information
