Digital Product Manager - Contract

This fully remote contractor position is for a 6‑month term with an opportunity to extend. The Product Manager will support the end‑to‑end development and go‑to‑market execution for digital initiatives across the eCommerce and Personal Health Ecosystem product offering. The role requires a strong foundation in all stages of consumer product management—including planning, discovery, and delivery—and will involve roadmap planning, prioritization, product and design reviews, A/B test optimizations, and data‑driven decision‑making to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with business goals. Responsibilities Work closely with senior product leadership to drive and execute product vision and strategy from concept to launch for Thorne’s digital initiatives. Support product discovery and delivery processes, ensuring timely launch of high‑quality features while managing scope, risks, and trade‑offs. Participate in and facilitate product and design review meetings, leading discussions on feature design, prioritization, user experience, and business impact. Communicate product requirements clearly, supporting Design and Engineering with specifications, acceptance criteria, and user testing. Write documentation and specifications to maintain stakeholder alignment. Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and experiments to optimize conversion, activation, retention, and engagement. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Engineering, Science, Medical, Marketing, Data, R&D, and Legal, and manage stakeholder relationships with external vendors. Work autonomously to manage competing priorities and guide teams through ambiguity. Contribute to team efficiency by implementing effective processes, tools, and metrics for product development and delivery. Identify challenges and work with senior leadership to develop solutions that keep teams on track. Ensure products are launched with proper data tracking, reporting, and A/B testing for actionable insights. Regularly track and communicate product performance, identify optimization opportunities, and provide insights to stakeholders. Analyze user funnels, cohort behavior, and growth metrics to inform prioritization decisions. Qualifications B.S. or B.A. degree required. 3 to 5 years of proven experience in direct‑to‑consumer tech product management within highly cross‑functional teams. Exceptional communication skills that break down complex ideas into actionable steps. Strong ability to manage and prioritize competing initiatives. Proficiency in A/B testing and experimentation methodologies, including test design, result analysis, and statistical significance. Growth PM experience preferred, with a track record of optimizing user funnels, conversion rates, and engagement metrics. Experience working with third‑party vendors, managing external relationships, and integrating their services. Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach. Highly analytical, proficient in product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics) and A/B testing platforms. Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams. Background in generative AI, e‑commerce, and/or health and wellness technology is advantageous.
