Overview

JL Partners is representing a leading civil and infrastructure contractor in the Southeast, seeking a Senior Estimator to join their Florida operations. This role is a key opportunity for an experienced estimator with a strong background in alternative delivery and design-build projects, focusing on large-scale civil works including roadways, paving, utilities, and municipal infrastructure. Projects commonly exceed $50M in value.

Base pay range : $150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts on major pursuits, from early conceptual budgets through final bid submissions.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and design partners to develop cost strategies on alternative delivery and design-build projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in heavy civil, roadway, or municipal.
• Track record of success on $50M+ projects in Florida or the Southeast region.
• Knowledge of design-build and alternative delivery methods.
• Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills.
