We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Enterprise Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, particularly with Cisco technologies, and a passion for solving complex business challenges through innovative solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with enterprise-level clients and support our sales team in closing high-value deals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, providing expert guidance on our network observability solutions and their applications in enterprise environments.
- Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their network infrastructure, challenges, and objectives.
- Design and present tailored solution architectures that address specific client needs, leveraging your expertise in Cisco technologies and network observability.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to C-level executives, IT directors, and technical decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide market feedback and influence product roadmap based on client needs and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders within client organizations.
- Create detailed technical proposals, ROI analyses, and implementation plans to support the sales process.
- Provide technical guidance and support during proof of concept (POC) engagements and pilot implementations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in networking technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, technical documentation, and sales enablement materials.
- Mentor junior sales engineers and share knowledge across the organization.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in the networking industry.
- Strong technical proficiency in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, security, and wireless.
- In-depth knowledge of network architectures, protocols, and standards (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring, analytics, and observability tools.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp client requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully closing enterprise customers.
