CRO Manager
Pestie, Inc., Bluffdale, UT, United States
The Role
We’re looking for a senior, strategic, and highly hands‑on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager to own and scale conversion across our paid acquisition funnel.
This role is responsible for turning traffic into customers by deeply understanding user behavior, forming strong hypotheses, and rapidly shipping and iterating on high‑impact tests.
You won’t just plan experiments—you’ll help build them. The ideal candidate can go from insight → hypothesis → live test without getting blocked, and knows how to collaborate with design and engineering while still being capable of executing scrappy tests independently when needed.
What you’ll do
Own conversion rate across key landing pages and funnels, especially for paid traffic
Develop and maintain a high‑velocity experimentation roadmap grounded in data, customer insights, and business priorities
Analyze performance across the funnel to identify the highest‑leverage opportunities
Write clear, compelling landing page copy and structure offers that convert
Build and launch simple landing pages and experiments directly using modern page‑building tools—without always relying on engineering
Partner closely with designers and developers to ship more complex experiments and site improvements
Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments with strong statistical rigor
Identify friction points in the customer journey and systematically eliminate them
Bring new ideas around offers, messaging, pricing presentation, and funnel structure—not just UI tweaks
Establish clear learnings from every test and ensure insights compound over time
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record of improving conversion rates in a DTC or performance marketing environment
Strong strategic thinking paired with a bias toward fast, practical execution
Ability to write high‑converting landing pages—not just suggest copy changes
Experience building landing pages and launching tests yourself, not just managing others
Deep understanding of paid traffic funnels and how intent, messaging, and landing page experience connect
Comfortable working with analyzing test results, identifying patterns, and prioritizing opportunities
Experience collaborating with designers and engineers to ship high‑quality work quickly
Strong intuition for customer psychology, objections, and buying behavior
Nice to Have (but not deal breakers)
Technical or engineering background (or strong technical fluency)
Experience with subscription or reorder‑driven products
Familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools (e.g., GA, PostHog, etc.)
Experience optimizing for metrics like CAC, payback period, and LTV per visitor.
What Success Looks Like
Consistent, measurable improvements in landing page conversion rates
A steady pipeline of high‑quality experiments being shipped every week
Clear insights that inform not just CRO, but broader marketing and product decisions
Strong alignment between ad messaging and landing page experience
Meaningful impact on revenue efficiency (CAC, LTV per visitor, contribution margin)
Perks of Joining the Team
Great medical, dental, and vision benefits to support you and your family
Monthly company contributions to your HSA when enrolled in our HDHP
Unlimited PTO so you can take the time you need to recharge
Career development opportunities to help you learn and grow
Company parties and team events because we like having fun together
Fully stocked snacks and everyday office perks
A collaborative team where your ideas and contributions matter
