Are you passionate about joining a dynamic AWS team that drives sales excellence through strategic enablement? The Sales Planning and Compensation (SPC) team designs integrated planning processes and sales compensation programs to activate AWS GTM strategy. SPC manages annual planning, in‑year adjustments, and sales compensation design to align seller incentives with AWS strategic priorities.

Key job responsibilities

Plan, write, edit, and manage a robust library of clear, comprehensive content, including user guides, product how‑to guides, FAQs, support content, PowerPoint presentations, reference guides, video assets, graphics, web content, email, and e‑learning courses

Distill technical information, complex business processes, and change impacts into crisp, user‑friendly communications that drive awareness and adoption

Create content for multiple audiences: seller‑facing (sales compensation topics), sales operations and management (sales planning strategy and operations), and technical documentation (process flows and system functionality)

Partner deeply with cross‑functional teams, including program and product management, support, external partners and subject matter experts to gather information and understand what is required to author content to support our users

Collaborate with stakeholders to create cohesive enablement strategies that support successful launches and rollouts

Manage end‑to‑end content development for new launches, ensuring structure, organization, accuracy, clarity, and compliance with program standards

Monitor and analyze content effectiveness metrics, continuously optimizing approaches to maximize impact

Navigate a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy

A day in the life In this role, you will develop and manage content on Sales Planning and Compensation topics. This includes creating PowerPoint presentations, user guides, process documentation, and coordinating with program teams across both sales compensation and sales planning domains. You will flex between seller‑facing enablement content, conceptual documentation, and technical documentation. Your work will help promote a self‑service approach, addressing knowledge gaps to reduce support inquiries and keep pace with changes to processes, policy, and tools functionality.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of content creation or similar experience

5+ years as a content developer, learning experience designer, or content strategist

Experience with web publishing and content creation and management systems (HTML, wiki markup)

Ability to be self‑directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a diverse team environment

Ability to interact with different business groups and dive deep into scoping and driving content development assignments for topics that have not been tackled before

Preferred Qualifications

Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

Experience in finance, business management and sales operations

Experience in project management

Portfolio demonstrating solid writing skills and design acumen

Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company

3+ years supporting Sales, Sales Operations, or Sales Compensation topics

Ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders, and minimal oversight

The base salary range for this position is $88,100.00 – $154,100.00 USD annually for the Seattle, WA location. The total package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
