Mason School of Business at William & Mary is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Associate Director, Virtual Executive Partner (VEP) Program & Faculty Affairs for Online Programs. This unique role supports the design, coordination, and daily management of the Virtual Executive Partners (VEP) Program, working cross-functionally to integrate VEPs into admissions, instruction, student engagement, and career services. This position also supports faculty and instructional functions for the Center for Online Learning.
The Associate Director, Virtual Executive Partner (VEP) Program & Faculty Affairs supports the expansion of the Mason School’s existing Executive Partner Program into its online graduate business programs through the Virtual Executive Partner Program initiative, ensuring a high-quality experience for online students that supports their professional and academic success.
Reporting to the Director of Instructional Quality & Curriculum Management and in close collaboration with the Executive Director of the Executive Partner Program, the Associate Director ensures alignment between VEPs, admissions, instruction, student engagement, and career services to strengthen the overall learning ecosystem for online students. The Associate Director also ensures the successful recruitment, training, and support of VEPs, enhancing the online learning experience and career development of students.
This position also supports online adjunct faculty recruitment and section staffing, as well as faculty and instructional functions across the Mason School’s online graduate programs.**Job Description:****Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in education, business, a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.* Demonstrated experience in program management, training and development, academic operations, or online education.* Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent academic processes.* Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple offices and with external stakeholders such as mentors, alumni, or adjunct faculty.* Proficiency with learning management systems and common educational technology tools.* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.* Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in mentoring and instruction.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Master’s degree in education, business, organizational leadership, a related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.* Experience managing volunteer, mentor, alumni, or executive engagement programs.* Experience with mentor matching, executive coaching, or career development programs* Experience supporting online instructional operations.* Familiarity with online graduate or professional business education.**Conditions of Employment:**This position may require additional hours beyond the typical 40 hour work week as needed to meet the business needs of the operation.This position eligible for hybrid remote work.
