
Global Supplier Management Lead

The **Global Supplier Management Lead** is a people manager role accountable for leading a global team of **Vendor Account Managers (VAMs)** and ensuring strong supplier governance, commercial management, and performance oversight across an assigned supplier portfolio.This role owns **supplier governance, commercial strategy, and contractual accountability**, while **operational execution** remains with Supplier Operations and Delivery team.* Oversee supplier performance using SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, and corrective action plans.* Drive structured remediation plans and continuous improvement initiatives.* Sponsor supplier capability, maturity, and quality improvement programs.* Monitor performance trends and proactively address risks impacting customer experience.* Ensure supplier risk management, audit readiness, and compliance governance.* Ensure alignment with HP regulatory, security, financial, ESG, and responsible sourcing requirements.* Partner with internal risk, legal, and compliance teams to manage supplier risk exposure.* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).* Experience in supplier or vendor management within services or delivery environments.* Experience in commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier governance.* Prior people management experience, including coaching and performance management.* Experience managing supplier performance through SLAs, KPIs, and governance forums.* Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.* 7–10 years of relevant experience or 5–7 years of management experience.* Experience in services, delivery, or solution‐based business models.* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.**Complexity**
