Overview The Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor III is responsible for processing residential mortgage loan files from origination through post‑settlement delivery in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, investor guidelines, and Univest policies and procedures. This role partners closely with loan officers, underwriters, and third‑party providers to obtain and review documentation, clear conditions, monitor pipeline and lock expirations, and coordinate timely settlements while providing clear, professional communication in both English and Spanish to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate processing of mortgage loan files from origination through post‑settlement delivery, including reviewing input and application completeness.

Request necessary documentation and services (verifications, missing documents, title and appraisal) and ensure receipt.

Proactively communicate loan status with customers, real estate agents, builders, and internal loan officer.

Process loans through automated underwriting systems and review findings with underwriters and loan officers, clear conditions, and note stipulations on the engagement letter.

Arrange loan settlements/closings and notify all related participants.

Monitor mortgage pipeline to meet settlement deadlines and lock expirations.

Serve as a mentor for Processor I and II positions and assist other departments in comprehending mortgage programs and processes.

Order tax transcripts as an authorized employee per Univest’s IVES policy.

Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of comparable experience.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while interacting with mortgage underwriting and sales staff.

Attention to detail, metric‑focused, well‑organized, and conscientious.

Demonstrated ability to work and resolve problems independently.

Knowledge of real estate lending practices, including federal and state regulations and FNMA/FHLMC investor guidelines.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Encompass, and automated underwriting systems (LP/DU).

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Proficient knowledge of the Encompass Loan Origination System.

The salary for this position ranges from $25.00 - $32.00 per hour.
