Location: St Louis MO
Remote/Onsite: 100% Onsite
Duration: Temp to perm
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities The Base File Home Loan Specialist is an entry level role supporting various Channels. As a Home Loan Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives.
The Base File Loan Specialist will:
Perform routine data entry and validation tasks
Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)
Review and validate loan documents
Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses
Monitor work queues and intervene as needed
Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
Qualifications
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
Capable communicator, written and oral
Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)
Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
