Job Overview
The Senior Ethics & Compliance Investigations Partner supports Marvin’s enterprise-wide internal investigations program by independently leading complex and/or high-risk workplace investigations into alleged misconduct and policy violations. This position provides practical, compliance-focused guidance to Human Resources on investigation strategy and consistent remediation aligned with Marvin’s Code of Conduct, policies, and applicable law. This role is a highly collaborative and partners with team members across the organization.

Highlights of your role
Conduct complex investigations into workplace misconduct (e.g., harassment, discrimination, retaliation, violence, fraud, theft), ensuring prompt, thorough, and consistent handling. Complete all phases of the investigative process, including investigation plan, document review and analysis, interviews, draft investigative reports outlining findings and conclusions.
Assist with triaging reports received through the EthicsPoint system, ensuring they are escalated and assigned to neutral, impartial investigators who are free from actual or perceived conflicts of interest, and appropriately matched based on risk level and subject matter.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of investigations in the EthicsPoint system, support data integrity and reporting needs, and conduct regular audits to confirm proper storage of investigation records in the designated case file system.
Advise and collaborate with HR on investigation process and ensure timely and consistent application of investigations strategies and remediation options across the enterprise.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of investigation protocols, templates, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational policies.
Help identify trends and patterns represented in reported concerns and other employee experience data sources (e.g. employee engagement survey) to inform training, policy updates, and risk mitigation strategies.
Partner with external investigators, as needed, to ensure workplace conduct investigations are led impartially and in alignment with company policies and values.
Support the development and delivery of training on investigation procedures and ethical reporting practices.
Promote awareness of Marvin’s speak-up culture and available reporting channels.
Exercise sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
Maintain working knowledge of employment laws (e.g., Title VII, FMLA, ADAAA, ADEA, NLRA), investigation best practices, and case management systems (e.g., EthicsPoint, Navex)
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
A bachelor’s degree is required, and a graduate degree is preferred.
Compliance and/or investigations certification (e.g., CCEP, PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
5+ years relevant experience in HR, Compliance, or Employee Relations type role
