Senior eDiscovery Sales Executive

Complete Legal is an independent full-service litigation support and electronic discovery firm headquartered in Kansas City with full-service hubs in Chicago, New York City, and St. Louis, and an office in Boston. Complete Legal streamlines the legal industry’s approach to eDiscovery, information governance and data management.

The Senior eDiscovery Consultant plays a key role in helping the company drive its top-line revenue and margin objectives by establishing business relationships with law firms and corporations for eDiscovery and related legal technology services. This position has been created to hunt new opportunities for Complete Legal with law firms and corporations that conduct a lot of litigation, investigations, and M&A activity and are prime candidates for our services.

Create new relationships with law firms and corporations, focused on select vertical markets that handle a lot of litigation

Maintain and expand relationships with current enterprise clients

Manage clients, prospect for new clients, handle account strategy, relationship building, negotiations, value selling, collaboration with other field sales and guiding account implementations

Ensure field compliance with assigned enterprise contracts working with the eDiscovery sales leader

Escalate execution issues to appropriate leadership

Maintain and grow a book of business containing complex law firms and corporate enterprise accounts, associate general staff counsels that have high enterprise revenue

Research and identify existing underperforming law firms/corporation accounts and create a strategic plan to grow revenue

Drive new business by attending industry engagements and conferences

Be recognized as a business partner and subject matter expert in Enterprise Sales

Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

Skilled in prospecting and building relationships with key decision makers in highly litigious law firms and enterprise organizations to secure business

Accomplished in client negotiations

Experienced in networking and leveraging established relationships with decision makers

Knowledge of the legal services landscape

Some travel may be required for client visits and networking event/sponsorships.

Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, excellent interpersonal, and organizational skills

Sales focused mentality with strong ability to sell Complete Legal’s value proposition

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite skills and sales tools (e.g., SalesForce.com and HubSpot)

Detail-oriented with the ability to plan work effectively, to meet the deadlines assigned, and to make sound decisions

Ability to multi-task and shift priorities

Ability to resolve challenges and suggest process improvement

Ability to work under pressure

Demonstrates a commitment to company objectives

Experience Qualifications:

4+ years of national sales experience with legal services sales experience preferred

Demonstrated record of achieving and surpassing revenue quota year over year

Demonstrated ability to work closely with business stake holders to ensure alignment of sales strategy with the business strategy

Experience driving targeted campaigns and activities to generate client opportunities
