The Director of Dining Services provides both strategic and operational leadership for community dining programs. This role leads dining and culinary teams, partners closely with client leadership, and ensures consistent execution across all service areas. The position requires a leader who can drive performance, build strong teams, and maintain a high standard of hospitality in a structured, service-driven environment. Job Responsibilities
Dining Operations Leadership Lead all dining operations, including multiple service venues and resident dining programs Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, and hospitality expectations Align culinary and service teams to deliver a strong, resident-focused experience Team Leadership & Development Lead and develop managers and frontline teams Build a strong culture of accountability, performance, and service Establish clear expectations and support team growth Client & Community Partnership Serve as a key leader within the community environment Build and maintain strong relationships with client and community stakeholders Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and overall experience Financial & Operational Management Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial performance Partner with finance and operations leaders to improve efficiency and outcomes Drive operational discipline across all areas of responsibility Compliance & Standards Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards Maintain safety, sanitation, and operational consistency Uphold Aramark policies and expectations Qualifications
Experience in senior living, CCRC communities, healthcare dining, or upscale hospitality environments preferred Bachelor’s degree level education highly preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management Strong focus on client service, business growth, and operational leadership Effective communication skills with clients, senior leadership, and internal teams Ability to interpret and execute against contractual requirements Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environments Proven ability to lead through other managers Experience managing budgets, financial controls, and operational analysis Experience developing and executing operational programs and initiatives This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). EEO Statement
