National Account Manager - Industrial Enduser Team - GP PRO (Remote Role)

We are currently seeking a National Account Manager to join our GP PRO National Account Enduser Team (non-foodservice). This role will manage and develop/grow a portfolio of existing GP PRO national accounts as well as acquire/hunt new accounts within the Industrial Segment. This position will focus on Industrial HQ accounts in the Northeastern USA. It is highly preferred that this individual live in the Northeast USA or within close proximity but not required. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in enduser sales, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with multiple contacts within each enduser customer. This individual should be adept at working with distribution partners as well as independently with enduser customers. A strong desire to win new HQ customers, new categories within large existing customers and expand the overall GP PRO footprint is essential. This home-based position will report to the Sr. Director of National Accounts.

What You Will Do

Hunt and acquire new Industrial HQ National Accounts for GP PRO

Profitably manage and grow a portfolio of existing GP PRO Industrial National Accounts through defend & maintain strategies as well as price realization when applicable

Strategically “wire” with key industrial distribution partners helping to embed GP into their National Account Team/Selling Organization

Create and identify leads for other GP PRO NAMs and Market Sales Teams

Meet and exceed a defined set of individual KPI’s

Build and maintain a robust Salesforce pipeline of opportunities

Identify and implement mix shift strategies to A+ whenever possible

Introduce and convert existing customers to new and additional GP PRO product categories

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends

Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients

Negotiate agreements to maximize profitability and ensure long-term partnerships

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities and progress

Efficiently utilize customer activity reports/files and various prospecting tools, such as Salesforce.com

Attend live meetings, tradeshows, and related activities

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree

3-5+ years of outside sales or equivalent experience

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Valid US Driver's License

Willingness to travel up to 20-40%

What Will Put You Ahead

Experience and success in selling to new and existing customers, preferably larger or multi-site accounts

Experience collaborating with distribution sales teams for mutual success

Ability to apply a broad understanding of economic thinking and PBM mental models to ensure fiscally sound and responsible proposals and decisions

Valuable cross-functional capabilities (Sales Ops, Category, Marketing, Legal)

Financial acumen and reporting evaluation skills/VISTEX experience

Project management experience

Experience with CRM/Salesforce.com

Salary: $110,000- $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay based on performance
