Director of Enterprise Supply Chain

Responsibilities

Kforce has a premier client that is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Enterprise Supply Chain to lead and evolve their corporate‑wide indirect procurement organization in San Antonio, Texas (TX). This leadership role is responsible for driving value, improving governance, and delivering cost optimization across all indirect spend categories in a large, complex operating environment. This role offers highly competitive compensation and incentive opportunities.

• Lead and transform the enterprise‑wide indirect procurement and supply chain operations.
• Set the strategic direction for indirect spend, drive cost optimization, and build scalable, best‑in‑class processes that align with overall business objectives.
• Provide strong leadership, deep category management expertise, and a proven track record of driving transformation across indirect supply chain functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree strongly preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership within a large or multi‑site organization.
• Proven success leading enterprise‑level procurement or sourcing transformations.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, category management, and vendor performance management.
• Experience operating in regulated, SOX‑compliant, or asset‑intensive environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Hands‑on experience with procurement systems and reporting tools that support enterprise governance.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
