Executive Recruiter - Accounting & Finance - Business Development - Big 4 CPA & F500 background

A law firm in Manhattan specializing in commercial real estate with ~30 attorneys is hiring a Attorney, Commercial Real Estate Lending with approximately 5+ total years of relevant experience, 3+ years of which MUST BE strong experience representing NON-INSTITUTIONAL LENDERS (PE & VC firms, Hedge Funds, etc.) related to commercial real estate transactions.

Salary up to approx. $225k, plus bonus, 401k match and revenue share for new client business. A portable book of business is NOT REQUIRED for this role. Hybrid work structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create loan documents pertaining to mezzanine, subordinated and preferred equity loans, mortgages, construction and bridge loans, etc. for commercial real estate transactions, from beginning to end.
• Manage workouts, restructurings, and secured finance transactions
• Create term sheets, credit agreements, letters of commitment, fee letters, forbearance agreements, participation agreements, etc. for commercial real estate deals.

REQUIRED:

• J.D.
• Admission to NY Bar
• 5+ total years of post-JD attorney experience
• 3+ years of post-JD, strong, 'hands on' experience representing NON-institutional lenders (PE, VC, Hedge, etc.) for commercial real estate transactions

A PLUS:

• Experience representing BOTH institutional lenders AND non-institutional lenders.

To be clear, experience representing ONLY institutional lenders is NOT a fit for this role.
