Leasing Agent What You’ll Do
Greet prospective residents in a friendly upbeat manner, conduct property tours, and sell the benefits of living at the community.
Pitch in as needed to support the property manager, help current residents and function as part of a team.
Assist prospective tenants with the leasing process, including completing rental applications and collecting necessary documentation.
Qualify tenants for the property rental by conducting employment background checks, income verification, and other assessments.
Prepare leasing contracts and ensure all deposits are collected and necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes.
Address tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including tenant information, rental payments, and lease agreements.
Track leads, follow up with prospects, and manage tenant information.
What You Bring
Previous multi-family leasing experience is required.
A successful track record as a leasing agent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with prospective tenants and current residents.
Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for tenants throughout the leasing process and in general.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Computer proficiency to handle administrative tasks, office administration, and leasing documentation efficiently.
Ability to negotiate lease terms and upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27-29/hour plus commissions and renewals
