Marketer / Hospital Liaison

Responsibilities

Hospital Liaison & Admissions Strategy

Clinical & Financial Vetting (Mandatory Skill): Utilize expert knowledge of insurance, payor sources (Managed Care, Medicare), and clinical documentation (e.g., PRI) to thoroughly vet all referrals. This ensures financial viability and clinical appropriateness for our residents.

Referral Source Management: Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with hospital social workers, case managers, nurse managers, physicians, and community organizations to generate high-quality referrals.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Admissions, Clinical, and internal teams to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.

Marketing & Business Development

Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our nursing home services, emphasizing our unique benefits.

Digital Presence: Utilize online platforms and social media to enhance our digital presence and engage with potential residents and their families.

Outreach & Events: Plan and execute professional events (virtual and in-person) to showcase our facility and foster connections.

Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and demographic shifts.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in the senior care or nursing home industry.

Mandatory: Expert understanding of payor sources, including Managed Care, Medicare, and commercial plans, and the ability to interpret clinical tools like the PRI.

Established connections and professional rapport with local hospital discharge teams.

Exceptional skills in professional communication, sales, marketing, organization, and time management.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.

Schedule and Setting

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day/Evening Shifts, with required weekend availability to cover referral needs (8-hour and 12-hour shifts).

Work Settings: Rehabilitation Center, Long-Term Care, Nursing Home, Acute Care.
