As a Senior Product Associate in Global Banking Platform, you will contribute to the team by applying your expertise in product development and optimization, using user research and customer feedback to create innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job Responsibilities
Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
Collaborate with the Area Product Owner to develop the roadmap and vision for platform capabilities, prioritize the backlog, and assist in the overall delivery process.
Provide answers and clarify requirements for scrum teams.
Review sprint outcomes and assist with release planning.
Create and implement new platform features as a Functional and Technical Subject Matter Expert on platform capabilities while working with various APG teams within the Global Banking Platform.
Maintain a strong emphasis on "building the right thing in the right way" to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet customer needs.
Conduct data analytics.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
5+ years experience working in engineering, technology, innovation, business strategy, analytics, and new product development.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
Proficiency in Agile methodology and knowledge of JIRA to do product planning and sprints.
Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to work well in cross‑functional teams and partner across various disciplines and levels of technical knowledge.
Experience using data analytics and data visualization tools; experience working with and presenting to senior executives.
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts such as AWS or AI/ML required.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Good understanding of microservice architecture and cloud‑native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes).
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Domain knowledge in Core Banking (e.g., Deposits, Credit Card, Lending).
