Black Box is a modern music marketing company. Our vision is to develop, attract, and grow meaningful audiences for artists through digital branding, strategy, and partnerships. An internship with Black Box will help students build a foundational understanding of artist development and foster a unique learning experience with music industry professionals. An internship with Black Box will help students get rare on-the-job experience in the music industry, working directly with professionals and artists in executing their creative vision. We help build a foundational understanding of artist development and foster a unique learning experience where ideas are not only required but made real. We aim for each intern to leave the internship with a varied portfolio of music industry relationships, creative work, new skills, and a greater understanding of artist development. Interns are guaranteed mentorship and engagement with top-tier managers, labels, artist clientele, and digital partners. A successful internship will lead to both freelance and permanent positions at Black Box and an industry-valued recommendation. The candidate must... Love music and have a deep knowledge of musicians and industry trends. Have an excellent understanding of the impact of social media on artists' lives and careers. Confidently collaborate and contribute ideas to artists, colleagues, and industry professionals. Tasks may include:

Artist research TikTok research and ideation Content creation (both video and graphics) Assist with social calendars, newsletters Creative brainstorms for marketing initiatives Short Form Content research, ideation and execution (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube shorts) Write copy for artist social calendars and newsletters Artist photography and campaign work Attending regular meetings with Artists Audio production skills are not required, but can be utilized (an opportunity to remix songs, if needed in the campaign, may arise) Skills:

Understanding of social platforms and best practices (FB, IG, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) Proficient in Adobe Suite, Canva, and/or CapCut Organization Time Management Requirements:

Minimum of 20 hours per week School credit
