Data Entry Specialist
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for executing ERP transactions accurately and timely, managing shop floor activities, and ensuring real-time data input. This role involves performing order and inventory reconciliation, conducting bin counts, and overseeing inventory management. The specialist will utilize scanners for inventory and production tracking and analyze production data for accuracy. Additionally, the role requires the development of job aids for process improvement. Responsibilities Execute ERP transactions accurately and timely. Open and close process orders daily. Perform order and inventory reconciliation. Manage shop floor activities and ensure real-time data input. Conduct bin counts and oversee inventory management. Utilize scanners for inventory and production tracking. Analyze production data for accuracy and manage work-in-process raw material and rework flow. Perform shift-to-shift and daily reconciliation across all production lines. Develop and create job aids for process improvement. Complete all other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience with ERP systems (Aptean is a plus but not required). Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and functions. Ability to analyze and correct production data in real time. Proficiency in English; bilingual is a plus. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Work Environment The role requires working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, with flexibility in shifts and hours.
