Visualization Designer – Commercial Interiors
Position Overview Shaw Commercial is a global design leader in commercial flooring design, delivering innovative solutions for some of the world’s most creative/dynamic environments. Our commercial brand portfolio and expansive product offerings provide insight‑driven solutions across the workplace, education, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, and multi‑family spaces. We are looking for a proactive self‑starter who is organized, curious, a strong communicator, and connector who can manage multiple projects at a single time within a fast‑paced organization. This role is based in Cartersville, GA with a minimum of 3 days required in office.
Responsibilities
Architectural & Design Document Interpretation: Analyze and interpret architectural plans, schematic design documents, and redlined revisions to accurately translate design intent into conceptual drawings and visualization outputs.
Concept & Visualization Development: Create high‑quality 2D and 3D visualizations that bring design concepts to life, accurately reflecting architecture, product applications, and customer needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, on‑brand deliverables.
Presentation & Documentation Creation: Create installation guides, layout standards, and supporting documentation that accompany renderings, ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Project Coordination & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Manager and internal teams to support project flow, meet timelines, and maintain strong working relationships across departments and with external customers.
Customer & Internal Partner Support: Provide exceptional customer service by supporting sales executives, internal stakeholders, and clients with responsive communication and accurate visual solutions.
Trend Awareness & Product Knowledge: Stay current on market trends, competitive offerings, and evolving company product lines to enhance design relevance and strategic insight.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited college/university and/or Architecture from a NAAB accredited college/university, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of interior design or architecture experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite (proficient in Photoshop), Revit, and AutoCAD.
Based in Cartersville, GA with a minimum of 3 days required in office.
Highly Preferred Experiences And Skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Enthusiastic and adaptable team player.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
