Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role as an Assistant Golf Professional based in Ann Arbor, MI. The Assistant Golf Professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality golf instruction, managing daily golf operations, assisting with tournaments and events, and providing excellent customer service to members and guests. Key responsibilities will include overseeing the golf shop, coordinating player services, managing inventory, and promoting the use of club facilities and programs. They will also assist with maintaining golf equipment and fostering member engagement in golf-related activities.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Golf Instruction and a passion for teaching and mentoring players of all levels
Experience in Golf Management and operational oversight, including tournament coordination
Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals and experience handling Golf Equipment
Excellent Customer Service and communication skills to foster a positive member and guest experience
Organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks
Certification with the PGA or enrollment in a PGA Golf Management program is preferred
Basic understanding of golf shop merchandising and sales practices is a plus
A professional and member-focused attitude with a collaborative spirit
